We took a 30c hike to $2.19/9 a few weeks back, dropped over time to $2.149 and today I noticed that we're up again to $2.299.
What we need right now is a good old fashioned US backed coup in an oil rich country, like Venezula...

The sticker price is now back up to around $2.079-$2.099 at the low end, and about 10c more at the pricy end of my bailiwick. I picked up another 20 gallons for 10.9c this evening.

The sticker price has been up to $2.099 at the low end but has slipped back to around $2.049, however the price has continued to climb not far away and is now $2.399! For several years I have noticed that the different areas average a differential of around 15c-20c/gal for around 9-10 months of the year, sometimes drifting towards, or even reaching parity; occasionally the differential drifts wider, but I don't recall seeing a 35c differential previously! Anyway, I shall be buying a tank of the $2.049 flavor for Mrs P this evening discounted to 10.9c/gal.

Our area dropped gradually to $2.119 and jumped back up on Monday or Tuesday morning to $2.299.

Yeah, I spoke too soon - by the time I went to fill Mrs P's car this evening it had jumped up to $2.159! - still only cost me $2.18 for 20 gallons through.

We've had a couple of twenty cent bumps recently the latest, a couple of days ago, was a 22c hike up to $2.599.
