I have had a green card since December. (well the passport based visa bit, still waiting for the actual card).
For the next two years I still have to service a contract in the UK. So I will be going backwards and forwards. I will be spending the lions share of my time still in the UK but won't be out of the US for more than 6 weeks at a time.
My earnings for the next two years will all be UK earnings.
So i will be "Tax Resident" in both countries.
In two years time I will be 55.
I currently have 3 pensions.
A "normal" pension that has been with Abbey Life forever.
A Sipp with AJBell
and a Qrops with Bourse Malta.
I know that Qrops are a bad word on this forum, but can someone explain why?
Would I be best off consolidating them into one SIPP?
If so, can anyone recommend a UK SIPP provider that will transfer in a Qrops as I can't find one.
