Why does everyone come to Florida go to Kissimmee and Whorelando?? The State is the size of Britain! Why not got down south to Miami area and see South Beach and the Keys and then go off on an everglades safari and see all the wildlife. Or visit all the hot springs in NW Central FLA ...you can swim in them all year with the Manatees...or go to St Augustine - the oldest city in the USA and visit the excellent beaches along the space coast?
Ahh well...as said before there arent really any deals on the theme parks unless you are an FLA resident.
By the way its set to be 85f all this weekend here.

I'd probably avoid South Beach with the children though.

Good point on South Beach...but theres plenty of other good beachs for them and of course the Keys is very nice this time of year.
Im just saying theres a huge amount of FLA that isnt Orlando/Disney crap.

Funny thing is one of my mates in Britain asked me where do we go for holidays now we live in the most popular holiday destinations in the world...
...Anywhere without tourists generally.

I'd avoid the Space Coast unless there's a liftoff you want to see. There is concern over toxic waste from the space programme so don't see much point in going to the beach there vs say The Keys.
