So anyone been come back into the US since this was introduced? Do we have file up behind the tourists or are we a little more welcome than that?

Indeed...
You line up with the visitors.
They take your right four fingerprints
They take your right thumb print
They take your left four fingerprints
They take your left thumbprint
They take your picture.
They are as rude as ever.
Now just imagine arriving immediately after one or two 747 loads of Indians or Chinese...
Happy days!

My sympathies for the rest of this, but - when have they EVER been rude? I've been a PR for 20+ years, and flown in many times. I'm always struck by how pleasant they are. 'Rude' is just not a term I associate with entering the US.

I agree, the officers at the entry point have always been professional and very pleasant.

Seriously - I've flown into SFO more times than I can count (the 'trips abroad' section of the Citizenship app was the most daunting for me). It was ALWAYS a good experience. Now, by 'good experience', I guess I mean, totally uneventful, but - they were POLITE - very polite. I always remember hearing 'welcome home', and really appreciating it.
