I need to see a dentist. My son needs to see a dentist. Can anyone recommend an insurance company that has no waiting period for a dentist visit?

We have just had the fingerprinting done for the AOS so im not sure if we are entitled to any benefit or not?

Your status has nothing whatsoever to do with the egibility for or waiting period of a health insurance benefit.

Sorry I can't help you with a name of a dental plan. Mind have always come through employment and for that there is a 90 days waiting period if newly employed. If your husband adds you to his there should be no waiting period.

Thanks Rete but the problem is the company my husband is working for doesnt discontinued their health and dental plans.

What do you mean your husband's company doesn't discontinued their health and dental plans?

Do you mean that they stopped providing health and dental plans? If so, you can check with your state. I know New York and Florida have health and dental plans available for children whose families do not have coverage. Perhaps your state does as well.

Also you can see if there is a dental school in your area. I had my children's teeth cared for by a dental school and their braces provided at a sliding scale.

Or simply go to your local dentists office and ask them to set up an account and
payment schedule for you, and just pay the bill yourself. Take Care. Shelley

That makes more sense. After all, you generally don't get sick and then buy insurance
to cover it. That isn't how the insurance companies stay in business.
