THE NOOSE

Does Europe have a history of hanging innocent human beings out of hate like America has in its past? Has crimes against humanity in Europe taken a different method to murder yet has been as historically monsterous? The Holocaus in Germany stands out as well as all the burning of bodies during Franco's reign of terror in Spain.Do you think America's horrible history involving slavery is worse than Europe's history in the Balkins,Nazi Germany and all the other horrors of its past? In my opinion its scary that in 2007 we are still talking about Nooses in the United States.

Indeed it is and that older age could have manifested into wisdom and learning of its history therefore never having to repeat its mistakes? I question whether America has learned from its past!

Do you know that slavery has been an issue since before the civilization of man. Are you aware that slavery was practiced by North American Indians before Europeans decided to settle here. Did you know that England and the Dutch were two of the major players at the time who introduced slavery to the north and south continents and the Caribbean Islands. You do know that it was the conquering tribal leaders of African tribes that enslaved members of the conquered tribes and either used them as slaves themselves or sold them to Europeans for profit?

Are you aware that atrocities against others has been in existence since the birth of mankind. You can find hate crimes as far back as BC and AD. There has always been hatred against others for race, religion, etc. Man has done little to raise themselves above the term of barbaric or savages.

The noose is only a symbol of hate and it is my belief that today it is used only because the press has given it such attention that fame seekers are using it only to gain notoriety. Unfortunately in the US we don't get to hear much of what goes on in Europe but I know that Germany is still a hot bed of prejudice and hate and that Austria is not far behind.

Yes, because you never see a swastika now days in all of Europe, and no one ever makes monkey chants at African football players in Europe, and the mess in the Balkans wasn't really in Europe, and ... oh wait...

nevermind.

The UK has a blood filled history and yes I guess some poor innocents were executed (look at the witch trials and other stuff). Thankfully Europe has seen the error of its ways, and executions are illegal in all EU countries. Only the stupid Right Wing nutcases want to bring the death penalty back. Some people will do anything for a vote, even arrange for someone to be killed it seems.

I'm curious and if you've mentioned it previously, forgive me, but how old are you?

Yes yes and yes I'm aware of all the history you mention. Its still shocking to witness the level of bigotry that exsist in America considering this is the country that trys to preach to other nations about human rights. Its a wonder anyone takes us serious especially with this joke of a government currently in power.I really wonder if Germany and all its racial issues is any worst than the climate that exist today in most southern states in America?Texas is a very good example.

Who is still talking about nooses? I am from the south and have no clue what you are on about. There are idiots here just as there are idiots in Europe......so what! Does that put all southern Americans with a large hanging post in their back yard? Not hardly. What garbage are you reading or watching?
