I need to find a new accountant to help prepare my taxes. I was working with a company in the UK to file for April 15th but they have not completed the work in time and are now not returning my calls / emails.

I will apply for an extension today but would appreciate any recommendations from anyone here!

A little background: I was living and working in London from January - October 2014 and have been living in New York Oct-Dec.

We arrived in mid-Oct 2011 - our tax people ran the numbers several ways, but filing as non-resident for 2011 (didn't meet Substantial Presence) was by far the winner; we even got a really good tax rebate as we'd been withholding at the normal person rate. The 1040-NR form is a very short, simple one, so hopefully it'll work out the same for you, and it won't be complicated or expensive.
