Hello:

I understand that my wife from Russia should have her airline tickets match her old name on her Russian passport so she can visit Russia and return. She already has her green card for getting through customs in the US.
My concern is leaving Sheremetevo II airport.
What if they don't allow her to board the airplain. There is also a customes officer she must go through to board for departing flights. And she says people just cant book flights to leave Russia with out a good reason even if they have tickets. Does she need to have her Marrage certificate certifed by a notary public and then translated to have and show the customes officer in Russia when leaving? Along with her green card?
