CSC recent timelines anybody ?
Hi,
Just wanted to ask if anybody was approved recently by CSC and how long did it take ? I submitted the i129f on feb 25th, 1st NOA says receievd 3/01 and Notice date of 3/07. As of today the phone message is not changed ( receievd 3/07, and it's taking 20-30 days. ) Also, does it matter at this point what country my finace is in ( russia ) or it takes the same time to approve ?
Thanks !

Yes, we dealt with them last month. They supposedly faxed our paperwork to the
consulate, but the consulate said they never received it. The typical
finger-pointing, of course it was the other guy's fault etc. etc. We got our
congressman involved, the case worker started asking questions, making phone calls,
sending email, and my fiancee had her K-1 visa a few weeks later. Woo-hoo. We
originally submitted our paperwork to the CSC on Dec. 14th 2001. She had her visa on
March 12th, 2002.
Good luck, Jeff
