You're in Manhattan ?????? ........... I will expect fish and chips delivered to American Sugar refinery (Domino sugar) Federal street, Yonkers at about 9.00pm tonight ! ..... gotta spend the night in the shit hole with no decent food .... Look in my photos to see what truck to look for

I thought I've just signed-up and thought I'd post a message to introduce myself.
Arrived in CT in Feb, having been transferred-in from the UK by my company. Missing Edinburgh, but I have to say the weather over here is a vast improvement! I've got through most of the relocation issues, but I think the main thing I'm experiencing is feeling a bit 'cut-off'. I'm single so I live on my own and I can only really catch up with my Uk friends /family at the weekends.
Be good to hear from any other Brits in the Fairfield/ New Haven area!

Call A Salt and Battery, lol A London couple, Nicky and Sean own it. Best fish and chips in the world. They own Tea and Sympathy too.

Welcome to Connecticut! I think you'll love it here. The summers are just fabulous. I'm East of Hartford, past Manchester and Bolton (sounds like England innit?).

I live in Vermont every other weekend.
Kinda behind Equinox Mountain... Bring your kids to the old quarry at Manchester... it's now the deepest swimming hole around. I have nightmares about the local kids hitting the rocks from diving in.
I jumped in with my clothes on last summer and feaked out when I saw huge fish.
