NEW Colorado Laws... (its a theme)
... the legalization of Sunday liquor sales, repealing the so-called blue laws.
(Oh, joy - watered down Coors on Sunday)
... The Hannah Montanna Law - which targets online ticket abusers who use predatory software to buy-out tickets and re-sell them at exorbitant prices.
(she's soo popular that she has a law named after her... beat that Olson twins.)
...increases penalties for people who make threats or retaliate against judges or a member of a judge's family. The new law makes such actions a class four felony.
(so its a class 4 to say to the daughter "F@&# You b*%ch" even if she is one...)
...insurance carriers to justify their rate increases and gives the Insurance Commissioner the ability to reject unjustified rate increases on behalf of consumers. The law also tracks data on the reasons why rates go up and makes that information available to the public.

Also going into effect on Tuesday is a law that requires casinos in Colorado to redirect the winnings of those people who are behind on child support payments into the state coffers.
(which brings whole new meaning to the phrase "Come On Lucky 7....Baby needs some brand new shoes!!)"
