Did you read the thread? The guy says he is here as a result of success in the green card lottery. One can't be indigent and achieve that.

This makes it sound like a big achievement:lol: All you need is some :fingerscrossed: (unlike other immigrants who need family/skills/investment etc)

There are also educational and employment related criteria for the Diversity Lottery - iirc, you need at least 2 years work experience in a job that requires 2 years training or more. Something like that anyway, but there's more than just luck to it!

You need either a high school diploma or 2 years' work experience.

Yep, so more than luck. Not sure what his eligibility has to do with Nutmegger's comment about the OP not being indigent in the first place, but just wanted to point out that there are some program requirements at least! :lol:

it is a trick question!! Either a yes or no would be correct..... I love marmite. That my kids love it as well is regarded as a victory in my house against OH's family that all loathe it.
