Name On I-129F
Hello all,
Thanks to all those who have read and replied to my previous posts. Nice to know I'm not the only one out there with questions.
The question(s) for this post is how the INS will look at first, middle names.
Ever since I started school, I've always used my middle name and am known by 99% of my family and friends by my middle name. All my credit cards, driver's licence, employer, Canadian passport has my middle name on it only. On the I-129F, I put in exactly what it asked for... so my first name, middle name. If I were filling out anything else I would use just middle and last. There are only two pieces of ID that I have that show my first, middle and last name. One being my birth certifcate and the other is my Social Insurance Card. I also have it on my baptismal certificate, but that really isn't used for ID purposes.
What effect will this have on the application as well as the issuance of the K-1?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Ian

I would have put the middle name, last name combo in the places marked for other
names used.

Hi Mrtravel,
I put my middle name in that field as well so hopefully it won't throw the INS off. I just don't want to be denied on a technicality.
