moving to usa
Hi everyone new to this site, my wife and I and eldest son are considering a move to the U.S
We are both in our 40's son 19.
It's not necessarily for financial gain rather a better way of life.
I am ex military and working in civvy street in uk as an hgv class 1 truck driver wife is a qualified pharmacy technician.
We are just at the thinking about it stage,
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
We were thinking of somewhere rural, and don't mind a fixer upper lol
Somewhere warm please?
Like I say, any help or advice would be great, many thanks

And it's probably very little consolation to point out that life isn't automatically "better" just slightly different. Another shade of green.
You certainly do not want to be poor here.

It's probably also worth noting the OP posted the exact same post in Italy, France, Australia and Canada.

The last 4 letters of his User Name (Airbornepara), are synonymous with his query.....
para (español) = toward, to, destination
Example:
El señor Airborne vuela para la luna. (Mr. Airborne is flying toward the moon).
In this instance Mr. Airborne has no destination (yet). Therefore: Airbornepara - - - - (and he's appealing to us to help him fill in the blank)
