Moving to usa
Hi Brand new to the forum and very green as to what to do , have just returned from out 10th trip to Tennassee and decided we want to depart the uk and move away now,has been burining in us for a while but now we supose trying to act on it
i dont have any ideas what to look for or do ,but i am a motor technician with 22 years trade knowledge and i currently run my own garages in the uk , my wife has insurance for 5 years ,banking and mortgage advised 14 years
Basicly we wonder what are chances of a Usa visa or Canada visa being granted are ,and whats the best way to start off do we submit CV'sfirst and see what is offered?
thanks for all advice

Re: Moving to usa
Open a garage here and transfer yourself on an L1. Easy, peasy -- if you've got the dosh.

If you can swing it, you could open a garage here and try for that. It would take a bit of cash up front and isn't exactly the best visa to have (can be tricky to get a green card) but you can get your foot in the door.
Option B is wife to get a job with a major multinational in the UK and then get transfered to their US office, taking you in tow.

A good potential would be if you were a specialist in "exotic" motors, like Ferrari's rather than your average ford focus...
