I have a B1/B2 visa valid 10 years. We are living in Belgium.
First can you give me some advise, I would like to find some headhunters in
NJ, NY or MA.
Thanks a lot !

Re: Moving to the US
This is really not enough to go on. You say you want to move *back* to the
US. Under which status were you in the USA before?
You also ask about headhunters. For what profession? Do you need
sponsorship? Generally, for job hunting, start with sites such as
Monster.com, hotjobs.com or dice.com.

Re: Moving to the US
Thanks Ingo,
I'm a Belgian Citizen and my spouse is a USC. We are married for 1 year now
and we are planning to move back to the US. I have a B1/B2 visa.
Do you think I can already apply for AOS and stay here until I find a job ?

Re: Moving to the US
You should apply for an immigrant visa at the US embassy in Brussels. And
you'll become a permanent resident as soon as you enter in the US.
Entering with a B1/B2 visa would be visa fraud because of your immigrant
intent.

Re: Moving to the US
Do you think it's best to apply now for the immigrant visa even if we still
live in Belgium for some months or should we wait. Once you get the visa do
you need to enter to the US directly ?

Re: Moving to the US
Yes, it's best to apply now, the embassy will take some time to process your
application. When you'll recieve the visa, it will be valid 6 months (and
when you'll enter in the US, you'll recieve a stamp that be a prove of your
permanent resident status for 1 year)

Re: Moving to the US
There are many Web sites. My own FAQ site at http://www.kkeane.com has a
list of quite a few interesting links. It also has a lot of more general
information that tells you a lot about immigration in general, although I
haven't focussed much on the marriage-based process.
The next thing I can recommend is to search google for the term "DCF"
(which stands for Direct Consular Filing). This is the formal name for the
process that you will hopefully be able to use.
And finally, repost your question in alt.visa.us.marriage-based.

list of quite a few interesting links.

Re: Moving to the US
What about it?
I haven't heard anything about a "new" procedure for AOS.
There is a change coming up, but that hardly qualifies as a "new"
procedure. You will merely file at a different office (the Missouri
Service Center rather than the local office).
