What's the price difference? If U-Haul still do the $0.99/mile mileage then you're looking at about $30 extra if you had to make an extra trip (plus fuel).

We moved more crap than that in a 17' one and had a fair bit of room to spare.

Don't bother with the trolley or blankets, more hassle than worth, use your own blankets.

Get decent strapping, with the clasped fasteners from Walmart, much cheaper than renting the straps.

Watch out for petrol...those trucks are shit and go through petrol like crazy and the only ones we could get were diesel and really hard to find a place that we could fill up in. One place wasn't high enough to pull into, the other had the diesel to one side which meant backing out onto a main road to get out of the place and there was only one other place that had diesel that was open.

Worth checking for online deals with the other truck rentals though as they tend to all have better trucks than uHaul, but they tend to be much more pricey, especially if doing a one way drop off or a weekend move.

Yup - not concerned about the price. Just the time. Ideally want to do it in 1 trip as I have ton to do that day...
