And obviously that was a results-based procedure: did you end up pointing the opposite direction? Did you cause an accident involving more than one fatality? If answered "Yes" and "No" respectively, that's good enough.

There's no need for any of that "careful control of the car using steering wheel, foot and hand brake, and gear lever, and not bouncing off the curb, all while looking in all directions, including using mirrors to look for other traffic" nonsense. This is Murica!

I had to do a parallel parking manouver, .... into a space big enough to park a bus! But then my road test was for uppity, better-than-you Yankees, in New York.

Honestly, it was out in the sticks, by a DMV employee drafted in from the city. I think he just wanted to turn around and go back to relaxing.

Discovery Kids at Huntersvilles is great for kids, if you move to the area you should get a membership. I don't know about the school districts as I'm south of Charlotte in SC, but there is a lot for kids in the area. I have a 3 year old so feel free to PM me on amt questions!
