Default moving to america

hi me nd my partner are looking to move to america in about four years. bt unsure what step to take first. we no its a long process so thought about starting now.

i have been to america before as i have family that live in utah but not immediate family.
we are both personal trainers therefore most work is slf employed unless gyms are willing to let us use their facilities at a price.

any advice would be great as to where to start.

thanx in advance

First off you need to read this and see if any apply to you.

U.S is a hard country to get into. I've been married to a yank for going on five years and I still have to fill out a ton of forms and go through a long immigration process.

Start here: http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Pulaski_Simplified. If you can answer "yes" to any of the questions, you *may* be able to get a visa. If the answer is no to all of them, you will not be coming to the US as anything other than a visitor... ever!

PS although time does seem to go quicker
lots can happen in four years, you could win the lottery, marry a millionaire, buy a business, inherit a relatives trust fund
etc etc,
look a little nearer the time you plan on moving

Welcome to BE.

Don't forget, letters of the alphabet are free, you might want to use them, this is a serious topic and you'd want it to be treated as such.
