You can always ask - but whether you get anywhere would most likely depend on (a) your position; (b) your ability. An Apple sales assistant: probably not. Genius semiconductor designer: perhaps.

Get yourself niche skills or company knowledge and sure, you've got a shot, but realistically figure a 5-10 year plan on experience.

Sure some get in with less, but that's more the exception than the rule.

What are you going to give them that they can not get in the US market already? You can ask for sure but it will come down to how f*ng good you are with your stuff.

Working at an Apple store selling iphones won't cut it.

I agree with others though. Unless you have some kinda awesome skill set, you will have to figure out 5-10 year plan to get into US market ....

Or you could just marry a USC!

Oh, well I'll have to bear that in mind, I guess I'll have to delay my plan right now to move to US, and concentrate on getting that job at apple anyways thank you all for the help!
