As I said I learned to drive in my Dad's Morris Minor 1000 van, the van had a very sharp clutch. My Dad, an Irish plumber/builder with a short temper taught me himself as I didn't have the money for driving lessons...................... oh how I fondly remember the screaming and swearing while 16 year old me was driving along like a kangaroo with the sharp clutch :scared:

My dad had a Morris Minor 1000, split windscreen, arm indicators, the reg. was URB 139. It was black with red interior. He installed a heater in it....a length of metal pipe....ran hot water through it from the radiator.

Woman with lots of time to spend admiring me and car. Will need to enjoy giving constant flattery and attention to restored, classic (huh) Austin Healey to the point of missing flight to India and losing subsequent job to person who could fly to India. Must enjoy standing at the side of motorway, A-Roads and B-Roads while car and indeed you steam. Must be a lunatic.
