Can you tell me if I qualify for Medi-Cal Health insurance in California if I own a house?

MediCal / Medicaid is extremely complicated and you really need to consult with an expert

It is, however, my understanding that your primary home and a car are among the assets that you may continue to own without it affecting your eligibility.

You might want to check out this web site.

Here are the qualifications for Medi-Cal - a benefit scheme run in California for low income/ in need people:

If you own a house, unless you sell house and your income/assets drop to a certain level, I doubt if you qualify.

If you are a fairly healthy adult without any terminal/ongoing major illnesses I seriously doubt it.
I have a friend who has Medi-Cal due to two kidney transplants. She owns a house (well the bank) and a car no problem)
I have two unemployed friends one who needs daily medication, their children qualify but the adults don't.
