one of my daughter's classmates died on Friday very suddenly of natural causes while in Chicago on a school band trip. Parent's worst nightmare, kids mourning and wondering if it could happen to them.
I mentioned that the funeral was today and my ex-husband quipped "well I guess the illegal aliens won't be coming."

Well don't know what it's like in other neighbourhoods but no change here, people dropping their kids off at school as usual , and unfortunately this morn I was at the local garage with my car
and several Hispanic mechanics were there working.....prob not illegal then I heard a news reporter today excitedly saying some people were even staying home today to protest...not leaving their homes!! "gasp"
I'm guessing for them no change there then

a few yrs ago i was at the aztec ruins in new mexico....i remember it being some of the most well preserved architecture in the southwest.
