What do you mean that your U.S. degree won't hold up in the U.K.??
I graduated a couple of years ago here in the U.S. with a double B.S. in Computer/Management Information Systems and Management.
I am planning to move back to the UK next year and from what I have found out on the American expats web site the U.S. degrees are accepted in the UK.
I'm confused, please tell me what you know

Incidentally those exams are CompTIA exams, so the community college has no say over who takes them. If they are a test centre, they will test you. There is also no coursework involved in them. Unless you mean you wanted to enroll in a course they offered specifically for those exams, in which case good luck.
