insurance for personal possessions?
i just recently moved to the US from the UK and living in temporary accommodation so don't yet have renters insurance. is there anyway i can get insurance for my possessions? any help would be great.

You could try calling some insurance companies (eg. State Farm, Nationwide) and asking then what your options are.

i will give them a call and see if they can help. hopefully the the temporary accommodation should only last 2 maybe 3 months, but wont all be in the same location. just wanting to get some sort of insurance in the mean time.
