Default Ikea

Does anyone live near an Ikea other than Pittsburgh. I have been trying to get hold of some sheers but ours have never carried them and wondered if anyone would be willing to help.

I live near an IKEA and that's where we got our sheers at. However, we are on the West Coast, not much help for you, sorry.

Like in curtains? You can get sheers in any department store or catalogue. Wal-Mart, K-Mart, JC Penney, Sears, why do you need an Ikea for curtains?

Lightbulb Re: Ikea

I was in IKEA yesterday at Elizabeth, NJ (opposite the main runway at Newark international airport).

They did have the purple and turquoise coloured sheers hanging from a display but I didn't look to see if there were any in stock available to buy.

Ironically I noticed them because when we lived in Singapore my daughter pursuaded me to buy lengths and lengths of the purple sheers (ie net curtains) and I remarked on them to my mum who is on a visit here. Actually I ended up giving them away to a Filipina maid when we were moving out.

If you know the item # send me a PM and I guess I could check with Elizabeth if they're in stock and I could go over and get them for you...can't do it this week though.

Target have sheers very reasonably priced at $14.99 or something like that. I've used dyes to get the colours I've wanted...just an idea

I often drive past that store, I once pulled up to take a stroll inside and was told to "move that MF truck or get a ticket" By a nice cop.
I moved

Another good way to get a ticket is park your truck out front at a Mass Pike sevice area.
