I wanna be a US citizen. Help!
I am 17 years old, from Mongolia. I came to US as a high school exchage student. After graduating my high school I started to change my status from J1 to F1. Hopfully it is going to change so (I am still waiting the answer form INS). Anyway "My main purpose is to be a US citizen by any cost." Please tell me the ways that I can get a US citizenship.

This disqualifies you for the F1.
You are not allowed to have immigration intent with the F1.

This disqualifies you for the F1.
You are not allowed to have immigration intent with the F1.

You have many options:
A) Find a nice American girl and marry her.
B) Enter the green card lottery every year. (I think you have to be 18).
C) Do well in college. Go to a good graduate school. Get a Ph.D. and do
good research in your field.
D) Do well in college. Get an American company to hire you and sponsor you
for a green card.
E) Become a famous artist or musician.
F) Find a few million dollars and start or invest in a company in the US.

H: Go to Canada. residence is much easier specially if you have two years

HAHAHA! It's certainly not much easier any more! Don't bother going to
Canada ... you'll never find work if the tales of many immigrants are

You want a green card. From there you can become eligble for
citizenship.
As a student (assuming your F1 status gets approved despite your
declared immigration intent here), you should choose a career path
towards a shortage occupation which will enable you to get labor
certification for a job with an H1B visa and eventually (hopefully) an
employer-sponsored for a green card. The annual green card lottery is
also an option. A bona fide marriage to a U.S. citizen at some point
in this process of developing your career also could make your dream
come true.
So, there are lots of ways. They will take time. They take money.
And they will take hard work. Getting your J1 visa got you started on
the path.
