So it's not just a simple issue of the DWI, it's also the fact that you breached the conditions of a previous entry to the US. I too think you are in a little bit of a pickle.

How did I breach the conditions of a previous entry? The work I was doing is permitted under the VWP. The work I was carring out was also explained at the POE and I was granted entry.

I don't think you breached the conditions of your previous entry, based on the description of the work described. (Post #30)

I think the confusion comes from the fact that some people seem to think the VWP is for tourism only (B2 equivalent) , when in fact it also allows visits for Business purposes. (B1 equivalent) - as long as you are admitted on the VWP in the correct category.
