It was this vile green slimey skin cream that came in a flat orange and green tin from Boots. It was meant to be some kind of elixir for all childhood skin ailments. We were lathered with it liberally.
A couple of years ago when I was visiting home I saw my Dad smear it on my 3 year old niece. My sister and I just looked at each other and shared a shudder at such a memory. It was grim and did precisely nothing!

it was called Malt & CodLiver Oil, use to try it out on my school mate's 
never met one who did like it. Sorry I have no idea if they still make it, but if they do it's to late to start on my little man when we go back, just like Marmite have to start off kid's when they are very young.

At last someone else liked it it was called Malt & CodLiver Oil, use to try it out on my school mate's never met one who did like it. Sorry I have no idea if they still make it, but if they do it's to late to start on my little man when we go back, just like Marmite have to start off kid's when they are very young.
