if i'm doing something in oven, i'll stick the plates in the oven after i've taken the food out, for a couple mins...not every day, but if your doing a nice meal, it's nice to have food served on a warm plate.

Fair point Rete, I'm getting older I can be a well of em... Just have a laugh really on the littly iddly points that give me a stick in the ribs...

I am a stickler when it comes to hot plates and so's my other half. She's warm in bed... no complaints there

Listen, if I know I'm going to be dropping $50+ for two on a meal, the least they can do is make the plates hot. jeez, they have the ability to make the salad plates as cold as ice
