I hate humidity and that hot hot weather so really feel for you all!

Its a pleasant 75f here and no humidity

And I get so confused re 75f or Celsius going to metric then imperial on everything my wee head can't take it all

35C's about 100F - I think - and this is relatively up north for you poor devils way back in the woods in TN or wherever it must be grim.
Yes - and it's going to be as humid as hell to boot! I was sweating profusely by 8am yesterday just from carrying a few bits from one building to another for a meeting - always nice at work!

yesterday afternoon when I left work it was 95F & 85% humid... 1.5 mile walk to Union Station.... by the time I got their I looked like I done a marathon.... nasty nasty weather.

what makes it worse too ... is that the aircon in my office can't handle the equipment generating heat so its 85F in there most of the day too.... with 4 different fans and an extractor.

Listen, compared to me (at least yesterday), horses simply "glow". It was just rancid here yesterday!

Hey you! How's it all going? ??

It's very hot and sticky this morning. I'm running around getting ready for our first UK visitors (yay!) who are landing at lunchtime

Had to drop the air-con and put the fans on! Who needs the gym?!

But to complain about something you wished for when you were in Britain, like hot weather, is a unique British trait!

My uncle came to visit in May. We told him that it would be high 80's/low 90's and he was getting all excited and was saying he wanted to go in the back yard sunbathing. Well when he got here and got a taste of humidity he soon changed his mind.

I'll take hot & humid over cold n rain anytime. We were at the beach Fri/Sat/Sun mid high 90's. Love it. Ocean keeps you cool.
Stuck in the city, high temps, thats another story.

My first summer in L.A., and by all accounts it is a mild one. It is very pleasant here. Its weeks like this I don't miss TX one little bit.

It was 'cold' when I woke up this morning (68 at 5:30)
