Homesickness "grass is greener" syndrome

Re: Homesickness "grass is greener" syndrome
Believe me, Council Tax in Lancashire is EXPENSIVE! 1000 quid a year for a small (poky) apartment.
I pay $700 a year and I have 4 acres, a very large detached house, a tobacco curing barn, three tick hounds, a creek, and four derelict Ford trucks.
and they are introducing congestion charge in Manchester......No Bloody Way.

you had me going for a minute the saliva was foaming at my mouth.
They still didn't taste the same to me.
Don't have one here because I have to admit I like chips that are so full of grease that when you pick one up it falls apart no crispy ones for me

Good to hear you're enjoying living over here.
The only thing I dont miss about Blighty, is living on a small island with too many people on it, and still more people flooding into it. I read somewhere that Britain has a similar density of the entire American population living in California.

California's smaller than the UK, somewhat I would think ... I'd put money on the fact the population density is even higher.
I cba to work it out either
