:scared: right where do i start, after about a year of constant talking and looking and 3 visits to the states,my wife and myself have finaly decided to make the move - but what do we do now, god everything is SOO complicated, i could really do with some friendly advise from people who have done what we dream of doing, where to start,jobs,schools..etc

Please help - im going nuts looking at sites that contradict each other

If you look at the link I posted to you then you'll see that their are a certain set of criteria you have to qualify in order to live and work in the US. I apologise if I am wrong but your post seems to imply that you are unaware of these criteria. If you do not fall into any of the special categories then you cannot live and work here. The desire to move here is irrlevant. In fact many of us did not have a desire to move here we are just here because we married USC's and we want to be together. I really would recommend you read the link.

I do wish you'd had that for the woman posting a month or so back. After reading Pulanski's guide she was still insistent that her parents (despite meeting non of the criteria) would be able to retire to Florida because they were 'determined'. Now that's stoopid!
