Arrow Haiti - UK response

I've just returned from Haiti where I led the UK Foreign Office Rapid Deployment Team to Port-au-Prince, so apologies to those who have sent messages that I haven't responded to.

Thought you might want some more information:

Here's information about the UK government response from the Foreign Office website: http://www.fco.gov.uk/en/travel-and-...iti-earthquake

Some reporting on what my team were doing: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...-in-Haiti.html

Further updates and details about the UK appeal for Haiti is on our Facebook page at: http://bit.ly/6lGNLY

Many thanks Dean.

I suspect that no matter what training you've had, it must have been quite a harrowing experience for you.

Hi Dean,
Read with interest your postings, well done to you all, cant have been much fun. I like many others want to offer my skills in the rebuilding of Haiti, money alone cant help everything, skills in many trades are needed to get Haiti back to some sort of acceptable living standards, my problem is that I dont know where to direct my enquiries. I am in the construction industry and a retired Police Officer, and feel that I could contribute greatly to thr rebuilding programme. Can you offer any suggestions please,
Regards,
Mick. 0034690272115
