Which is exactly right. And most confrontations can be ended non-violently. I was always taught - and excercised - the tenet that if a confrontation ends in violence then you have immediately lost regardless of outcome. However there are on occasion times when action must be taken to resove a conflict.
But my point was that the majority of street criminals are not thinking fighters. Most street crime is actually spur of the moment stuff.
Oh and Im pretty sure I at no time insinuated a firearm was a penis extension. exactly the opposite infact.
