I haven't got a clue what 'sussies' are ... and thinking you can't wear a gun around your calf if you're wearing shorts because of the heat ... but then again, maybe you don't wear shorts?

I think I've made my points. I'm surprised you were in the Police force, I would never have guessed by your posts, you seem to have no clue about the flight/fight syndrome, risk/reward during altercations etc...

So you wear trousers and your gun is just up inside your trouser leg? Isn't it a bit of a pain to get it out quickly in an emergency?

Question ... are you able to carry your gun legally in Florida, or do you do it on the sly? I know you've mentioned your past work history, just not sure what type of work you do now you're in Florida and whether that gives you the right to carry a firearm 24/7?

Citizens and permanent residents may legally own and carry firearms if they meet the federal requirements.

Oh my .... I'm in trouble then ... I've touched my husband's gun many times, in fact I've even held it a few times too! But then again, he never gives me his gun when we're out in public! ;)

No FL doesnt allow it and no I wouldnt even if it did. I dont have any desire for a power trip and I prefer any potential attacker to not know if, how and where I am armed.

i don't see it as any more of a power trip than someone who carries concealed.;)
