I regularly see people wearing pyjamas, usually with fluffy slippers to match when out shopping ... not at the malls, just at the big grocery stores and WalMart. I also see women who are in the middle of a perm doing their shopping, and they don't seem in the least bit embarrassed by being out in public with a full set of curlers. On one occasion the woman was wearing pyjamas that actually had an abundance of old food stains on them ... yuk! In general these outfits really do look like they have been sleeping in them for several days ... I'm sure I never saw this in the UK and though I see it on a regular basis here it still surprises me that anyone could go shopping in their pyjamas!

I have a pair of white pyjama's that I haven't worn yet, they keep begging me to wear them out, so I might have to, although sometimes they seem rather angry! Maybe it's because I haven't 'worn them out' yet?!?!
I'll get my coat!

When I asked him what would happen if he had an accident (of the auto kind) he replied " then I'll be dressed for the hospital". He would never have done this in the UK. It must be all the corn syrup in the food here.

The only time I ever left the house in my pj's was about a year ago, we overslept and my daughter was running lare for school so I jumped in the car with my 'small' see through pink pj's on and big red fluffy slippers, put my foot down and got nicked by a copper for speeding.. I have never been so embarrassed..
I'm so glad you don't have to get out of the car over here, although I have to say I've had a thing for CHP officers ever since..
