One of these days there will be a sale on good pre-owned dogs (low mileage) somewhere in this country.

I have been here on and off for about 17 years and still have not got US citizenship. The first time I looked into it, it was about $200 and I couldn't afford it then.
There is not much I haven't been able to do without it, so I probably won't bother.

I have an American husband and a child. Does that mean if I don't become a citizen my will is invalid?

I don't think that's correct. It's just that non-citizens don't get the same inheritance tax breaks.
