Better check over in the Marriage based immi forum re. advice on adjusting status, though if you don't have any overstays or other 'issues' you should be able to do it without an attorney.

Start by getting your vaccination records and you long-form birth and marriage certificates - and don't lose you I-94 :)

Anyway, recommendations:
Little Church of The West, all the other are nasty. DONT book a Friday or a holiday etc. We picked a Thursday and had the day to ourselves
Stay in The Bellagio - ask for a room over looking the fountains - A MUST.

Have fun, I won $1800 on a slot, the day before the wedding.

Dave

Welcome to BE and congratulations on your marriage. Looks like you had a great wedding.

Sister renewed her vows whilst over visiting - did the whole Elvis deal for a laugh, it certainly was that, right down to the broccoli in his teeth!

As my family are retarded northerners with no clue on how to work these new fangled computer things, she has no way of researching this on the internet so has asked me to do it.
Anyone done it, been to one, recommend a place etc etc (preferably with Elvis involved :D )..

Thanks..

This is where the wife and I got married in Vegas:

A Little White Wedding Chapel

They will take care of everything including dress, suits, limo ride to get the license.....everything.

Just tell them to take plenty of cash for the limo driver tips (for each ride....getting the license and to the wedding), the Minister's tip and slots :D

Did you have Minister Ron?? Fat short guy with a tache?? Everytime that chapel is on TV, they always show him.

They were really helpful and made the day a lot easier.

We loved our tacky Vegas wedding!

We were sooo close to doing the drive-thru wedding but my husband wanted something a little more traditional, so we ended up tying the knot at The Little White Chapel.... ahh the memories! ;)
