general paperwork what to take/shred?
Hi,
sorting through paperwork, bank statements, credit card bills, utility bills, payslips, etc etc.
How many years worth of these do I need to take with me to US, and what can I shred!?
Figured it's best to take what I have to in hand luggage?
Thanks.

Re: general paperwork what to take/shred?
I'm a hoarder, so I'm sure I brought much more than I needed. Seem to remember chucking some of the sensitive-but-not-critical stuff (e.g. paid bills, bank statements etc.) in my checked luggage as there was simply too much of it. Critical stuff (e.g. visa paperwork) went in hand luggage.
