About 3 years ago it was 97 cents a gallon in some Dallas suburbs, totally filled up the car for about 11 bucks!

$2.45 this morning in PA, near Philadelphia.
I hate to say what it was in 1966, when I came here.
Allowing for inflation, its still a little cheaper than when OPEC got uppity in the 70s

In the UK we're paying £4 a gallon...that's about seven bucks (I think). Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
