Gas/Petrol

Whats the price running in your area right now? Here in Grand Rapids, MI it is running at $3.65 per gallon, the highest I have seen it... so far. I know it is going to get worse.

Has the rising price had any effect on your travel habits yet? I have been a little more consious about just going to the mall etc without any really good reason.

Ash :)

It's at $2.89 here. So far, it hasn't done a thing to my travel plans.

Re: Gas/Petrol

Last weekend I kicked myself for not filling up a day or so earlier as the cheap stuff was at 3.51, having been at 3.49 the night before. Then it plummeted to 3.39! That lasted a day, but I'm wondering if the people there put the wrong number in there, as the following day it was 3.59. Haven't been outside yet today but it's doing nothing but going up now.

Don't your prices differ a lot locally? Ours do, as much as 5c a gallon.

Maybe just for a day or two ...but most follow the line
except by the Interstates where they just just rob you...

$3.25 on my way to the opticians.

$3.16 where I live.

I was driving through a dodgy area of Trenton this morning and gas at one station was $2.89 but I was too scared to stop and fill up.

I filled up for $2.85 last night. I drive from central NJ straight up to the NY border most days and on that route the highest in NJ I've seen is $2.97; but in NY it's at least $3.29.

$3.70 here... we don't use our car that much so it hasn't really made a difference... still... a refill is up close to $100 now.

The Princeton area is known for having the dearest gas prices in NJ, all stations are charging over $3.00.
