In the Netherlands there's a guy who's name translates into Leg-Chopper. He runs a company where they sell rehabilitation equipment.......

Don't believe me?

Ok not a shop name but when I lived in Uganda I regularly used to see a driving instructor's car around Kampala from the "Princess Diana Memorial Driving School."

The owner probably meant well....

In Murfreesboro there was a shop called "Pet Food and Soda" that sold ... you guessed it.

Strange combination, but then I know I've seen others (like Fish Bait and Socks - no, just made that one up).

Any strange combinations in your area?

We have a fishing tackle store near one of the local dams here called the "The Dam Store".... and we saw a sign for a shop recently that offered "Fishing bait, Tackle and Beauty products" - now that place has something for everyone !

When we first moved to Maryland the sign outside the local Taco Bell read "Now hiring losers" and it stayed up there for at least a couple of weeks. I still get a chuckle out of that one.

And what to think of Mr. Brick (Baksteen), head of the airplane safety organisation.... they used to interview him on TV whenever an accident had happened with an airplane. I know airplanes going down isn't funny, but when they next interview Mr. Brick....

There is an exhaust shop a couple of miles down the road from the office which is called "Mighty Mufflers". However, given the angle of the sign as you drive up to it looks as though its called "Mighty Muff". Childish/schoolboy humour but it makes me giggle!
