Agreed, last time I went back home my 10 year old cousin pleaded with me to take her a box of fruit loops home the next time I visited the UK, as she is mental anyway LOL, I agreed but she only ate one bowl and hated them, whilst we were back home this time my 2 y/o was round at their house and was given a bowl of the left over fruit loops, I swear he was up 'til 1 in the morning running round the house like a pyscho.. :scared:

Yes, but then I avoid processed foods.

Corn syrup is no worse than honey - apparently.

For breakfast try chocolate whey protein + low/non fat milk + two teaspoons of natural peanut butter + two heaped tablespoons of natural rolled oats, all liquidised together.

Our local grocery store has been selling Weetabix for several years. About two months ago they disappeared off the shelves. I scoured the cereal aisle thoroughly. Could not find them. (Still can't understand why anyone would want to eat peanut butter cereal first thing in the morning YUCK). Anyway, as we were checking out the girl at the register said "did you find everything?". I told her that we had not, and that after a few years buying Weetabix they were suddenly gone. She called over the manager and asked him and he informed us they had been moved to where the organic products are. ORGANIC??? I just laughed and told him that the Brits were eating Weetabix before anyone knew what organic farming was. Sure enough, we found them and noticed that they now have plastered in big letters across the corner "ORGANIC". Does this mean the price will go up??

As for making you shit through the eye of a needle, there is always Peptobismol, makes you go if you are bunged up, makes you stop if you are loose and cures all, but keep it away from your furniture. It says on the bottle "may darken your stools".

Shall do

Thanks for the tip

I have two growing boys, 16 and 13, footballer and basketball player..

So.. all recipes and yummy suggestions for 2 Brit boys would be nice, because they really dont like sweet things, thank God (even after 8 years)

Better get me blender out, and make sure the remenants of the Marguerittas are well gone LOL

I haven't got the size for that! I'd have to eat at least a couple of whole chickens a day!

Don't flame me but I like the cereals here If I moved back to the UK I would have Raisan Nut Bran imported as well as Cracklin Oat Bran... I really like Honey Bunches of Oats too.

This morning for breakfast I had toast smothered with Hartley's Strawberry Jam... lovely.

The kids have one bowl full of a cereal they just have to have and will love it forever, and then they dont like it.., so now we are on variety no. 401
and those chocolate pop tarts make me want to vomit, major yuk, thank God the kids now HATE them, but not until I bought them in MAJOR and I mean MAJOR bulk from Sams, and even the homeless people under the fly-overs turn their noses up at them.

Bratttsssss, even the dog wont eat them

Bloody kids
