I put dual-zone heating and cooling in the house as my whole family complains at the temp I keep the bedrooms in.

All zones are set to a min. temperature of 65F and max of 75F...I usually turn it up a little.

I have my heating come on when I get up in the morning when it's really cold. But I'm lucky here as it doesn't really get that cold. And the auto temp (I have it at 48) is more as a backup if it suddenly freezes.
I save a lot of money on my heating bills
