Cool Freeeeeeezing.

I complain all summer about the heat.... and now I'm going to whine about the cold.

My poor daughter leaves before the sun even comes up (It's not to have you Mum drive you to school she says). At 6:50 am you need night vision goggles.

The puppy looks at me with a "You've gotta be kidding stare!" :scared:

I love the Autumn, pumpkins pretty coloured leaves... but not the cold.

What's you favourite season?

Not too bad...it was 30F when I was driving in today - lots of fields had a nice coating of frost.

Winters aren't as extreme as further north in New England - it does get down to 0 F on occasion though. And when a big nor'easter storm comes up, you can get a couple of feet of snow dumped on you (last February this happened). But it's not Buffalo.

Geez...just looked at what I've just written...I used to talk Celsius, but my life here has reset me to my parents temperature measurement units :scared:

It's not freezing here.....but I sometimes wish it was. Starting to miss having seasons, would like a nice crisp morning. We had some the last few days, but its not the same. Christmas in particular stinks in FL, IMO, no Christmas feel whatsover.

Look up the averages on www.weather.com

It's a lot colder than London in the winter!

Nice and balmy 35F this morning, not to that bad...still not got the heat on as I'm a tight git and and trying to put that off for as long as possible because the thought of $300 + a month on oil is a tad scary.

But season, I rather like spring, it's warm, but not to hot, and the bugs aren't really out yet..

Even though it gets colder here, it doesn't always feel colder. You can go out in London, in November and with the temp. above freezing get chilled right down to the marrow of your bones. The cold is, generally, less humid and doesn't chill as badly, here.
