it's sales tax I was thinking of, New Hampshire is another, and there's another one somewhere, oregon? can't remember...

we have no state income tax right now, but our sales tax is 9.25%

Nah, Florida has sales tax, but no state tax.

Of course the biggest problem is for people not on a green card
they get no exception and there taxes rise tremendously every year ..

My trailer in the wood would have been $3500 but with the exception and SOH is $1900 ... up just $90 from last year ..


South Dakota is cheaper I believe ..
SOH is a good example of why it's good to hang on to your house if you can, long term.

Round here though, it seems more like "Save our Ass" for a lot of people, there are loads of homes on the market nowadays as adjustable rate mortgages begin to bite
