So my L1A visa finally got approved, this whole process has felt never ending, but it's done now
i'm looking to move over during the first week of August, which is quite daunting, since that's only 3 weeks away!!!

My passport turned up with my visa on Friday. We are off first week of August. Heading to san francisco not NY though.

It's extremely daunting especially as our house sale is really slow.

First week of August for us (or most of us) too! We are now busy packing our container with an end of July deadline. Could do with a few extra hours in each day....

We leave in 5 days, and our tenants pulled out of renting our flat just last week. So now we have NO tenants. I think we'll fill it only once we leave. but it's VERY worrying!

Good luck with everything though!

as long as you have a decent agency working for you, you really don't need to be in the country to finalise, so I wouldn't worry too much. I bought my property last year and it rented pretty quickly...but i did all of the paperwork from Dubai, not too much hassle!

we got our first tenant after we had left for the USA. was a pain signing and scanning things back and forth to the rental agency but very do-able.
