So, my one visit with FB was about 5 or 6 years ago, IIRC. I'd been asked to go to Phoenix to help a certain ASU prof with some problems. ASU guy turned out to be probably the most arrogant, moochy prima donna I'd ever met, who incorrectly thought he'd scored a free minion for a week or two. You can probably imagine how FB soaked up the full story.
I asked FB specifically about a few posters who he was in running battles with at the time. We all have mental images of other posters, but he'd obviously spared a fair amount of thought for his constructs. There were real rationalized reasons why other posters acted certain ways and said the things they did. And he had nothing personal against any of them. They had (in their minds) valid reasons for what they said. And they were wrong.

Back in January when I was talking about investing in a tablet I took FB's and Bobs advise. When I said I had decided on a Samsung Galaxy he told me I wouldn't regret it.
Well FB, I didn't regret it, I love it!
I am not part of the Apple Orchard
RIP matey x

I remember him, waaaay back when, standing up to that mad lawyer who was threatening to sue FB over his expressed opinions. Not one to back down.

The pity is that FB is no longer here to see all of the great things people are, justifiably, saying about him. Always that way, isn't it? I hope he has BE reading privileges up there.

So can we get some links to some of these favourite threads for those of us who are relatively new - kind of in a tribute way?
