From what I heard from relatives on the ground in Wales, the "rucus" as you call it was essentially limited to the town that gave birth to Sir Anthony Hopkins, Port Talbot.

Don't want to get caught up in the conversation of famous Welsh people in the US, but I know that there were 15 boys today in Paris (excl. subs) that deserve to be famous in the US. If anyone missed the game today, then you missed a belter. I think the Welsh are on for the Grand Slam.

First you'd need to explain to Americans what Rugby is and how to play it.

Oops, oh yeah. Basically, it's a better version of American 'Football', but without dressing up like your going into battle. I think that's a pretty good summary.....in laymans terms I mean .

Cool Re: Famous Welsh People in the US?

This "world renowned baritone and voice coach" who lives a couple of miles from me is from Wales (but I've never heard of him.....)

It's just like American "football" but much tougher and you actually have to be an athlete to participate.

Mike Moritz is apparently a Welshman; I was reading this article about Google when I noticed it.

... just more of CC's standard operating protocol ... CC seems to get into a lot of swearing and bad-girl antics around Cardiff's night scene, and its not an act to get publicity. *ponders ... where she will be in 10 years* She is a very common girl, "common" as in muck. Imho, CC is a bad ambassador for Wales and Cardiff.
